Non-profit and public health facilities are eligible under the CARES Act to receive funding to purchase and install telecommunications, information services, and connected care devices to prevent, prepare for, and/or respond to COVID-19. The government has allocated just $200,000,000 on a first come, first served basis and the application window opened at noon on April 13th so time is of the essence.
In applying for telehealth grant funding, all applicants will be required to obtain an FCC Registration Number (FRN), register with the Universal Service Administrative Corp (USAC), and register with the federal System for Award Management (SAM). Akiro can facilitate the application process to help steer you through the application maze and our colleagues at Nectar Strategic Consulting can work with clients to complete the formal program and process requirements.
- Develop an integrated connected care services plan
- Document the telecommunications and information services necessary to meet institutional telehealth needs
- Provide a timeline for deployment and measurement of program impact
During these most stressful times when budgets are stretched thin and committed to serving the developing crisis, akiro will waive it’s customary up front fee and only charge if a grant is awarded.
Don’t get lost in the process and leave this significant grant for someone else. You have your hands full during the Corona crisis. Contact us immediately and let us handle the details of this important opportunity.*
